Individual therapy is for those looking for support relating to having insight and support in making changes in their own life. Clients can come with a specific goal that they want to work on or come with a wider goal of wanting to have more insight and make changes throughout their life. The style of therapy can be determined in individual therapy based on what the client and therapist view as the best for the client.
In Person sessions are usually accompanied by Bennet, certified therapy dog.

Family therapy is designed to help work on relationships in order to create a healthier functioning family system. I work from a family system point of view that allows us to look at how all members affect their system and not blame only one person for the family dysfunction. A family can be defined in many different ways and are specific to you. As a family we will identify what goals you would like to work on and learn skills, strategies, and gain insight into how all family members are being impacted by the system.
In Person sessions are usually accompanied by Bennet, certified therapy dog.

Are you noticing that that you are needing more support than what you’re getting in individual therapy? Would you like to learn practical tools and strategies to cope with challenging emotions and situations, but there hasn’t been enough time to learn them in individual therapy? DBT Skills Coaching can help with this!
I have created an adjunct individual DBT Skills Coaching service that can support your growth in individual therapy. I will come alongside your current therapist and teach you DBT skills while you continue your work with your individual therapist. DBT Skills Coaching can be provided for as long (or short) as you need it to be. This service can also benefit those who need a refresher on DBT skills. You and I will work together to create an individual plan while I collaborate with your individual therapist to ensure we are meeting your needs.

Supervision is one of the biggest investments that you will make into your career. Having consistent, supportive, and educated support as you learn and increase your knowledge will help you provide the best you can to your clients as well as create long term skills for you to be able to consistently provide therapy while taking care of yourself.
I provide clinical supervision to LMSW and LGPC clinicians in Maryland. I have experience working with and supervising clinicians in settings where they work with high-risk clients, crisis management, and challenging populations. I am trained in DBT, CBT, and TF-CBT. I have worked in a variety of settings including substance use clinics, hospital settings, IOP agencies, and private practice.

Group supervision provides extra support for your clinical knowledge. It gives you a setting to have a supervisor providing support and clinical advice while also being supported by other clinicians in similar settings who are able to provide a variety of input and ideas. Validation and support from supervisors and peers can help during the busy, difficult, first few years in the field.
Group Supervision is provided for LMSWs and LGPCs in Maryland who already have an individual supervisor. It is held on Tuesdays from 12pm-1pm on a weekly basis. The group has a maximum of 6 clinicians participating at a time.
